Genetic Communications is founded
and run by Jeanette Palmer.

She's not all business. Besides having a passion for design and marketing, she has a love of writing, public speaking and music.

Formerly, Jeanette Palmer was co-founder and partner in Rise Agency, where she served as Executive Vice President for eight years.
She transformed that self-funding business from a production services firm into an integrated marketing communications company with an overall growth rate exceeding fifty percent annually for a six year period. Clientele was primarily business-to-business Fortune 500, including American Lawyer Media, McGraw-Hill, AMEX, Meat & Livestock Australia, Donna Karan, Armani Exchange and Swatch.

She managed all client services and marketing department functions in addition to being jointly responsible for company operations, revenue projections, profit/loss reporting, employee recruitment/firing and workflow process review.

Creative work from Rise Agency won awards from Graphic Design USA, the Association of Graphic Communications, The Printing Industries of America and the Summit Awards. Work was also featured in the following publications: Step by Step, HOW Design, Inspire, The Big Book of Design Ideas, Creativity Annual 30 and Creativity Annual 31.

Jeanette's career history also includes work with Clarion Marketing and at D.D.B. & L.

At Clarion Marketing, she managed conceptual development and program execution for national trade and consumer incentives, including: cross-marketing programs with Disney and Major League Baseball, couponing, sweepstakes, in-store displays and prize fulfillment for thirteen Cadbury Beverages brands, including A&W Root Beer, Naya Water, Country Time Lemonade and Crystal Light.

At D.D.B. & L., she managed all client relations and vendor sourcing in print production of packaging, POS and direct mail for brands including Tzar, Paris, Opium, Ellen Tracy and Pepsi. She initiated the company’s public relations program; wrote press releases, developed relationships with trade press and successfully placed stories and mentions.

Jeanette has a degree in sociolinguistics from New York University.
